I currently trade using spread-betting accounts and have accounts with most of the big players – IG Index, InterTrader and ETC Capital. I’m currently testing out a new broker called HF Markets.
Most brokers have their own web-based trading platforms with all their bells and whistles, but I like to keep things simple and prefer to use MT4 or MT5, both of which are available as a desktop apps and downloadable apps for small devices.
I usually trade off my laptop during the London and New York sessions and monitor my positions throughout the day, and sometimes during the night, on my Android Smartphone or tablet.
